Evidence Unveiling Israel’s Sacred Calendar, #1

Category:

When I observe someone promoting something that is untrue, I find that it is my Biblical duty to point it out and address the error! In other words, if I observe a crime about to be committed; or in the process of being committed, and I don’t witness to it, I become as guilty as the criminal perpetrating it, so I’m quite careful with my own teachings, and what I accept from others. Just because something sounds reasonable, I study it before I embrace it! What I’m about to address in this paper, I’ve had on the back burner for quite some time!

Eli James, a “solar only” calendar advocate stated in part in his The Great Impersonation, p. 267, “... There are two lights in the sky which divide times and seasons. They are the Sun by day and the stars by night. We can navigate the oceans according to these lights, but not by the moon. We can tell the seasons by the Sun’s angles and by the constellations. The moon does not tell us seasons or times of day. Nor does the moon shine by its own light, so the moon is a nonfactor. Any lunar calendar or lunar-solar calendar is unbiblical and therefore unfit for true Israel.”

Sacred Calendar Chaos #1

Category:

I thought to entitle this series of papers “Sacred Calendar Confusion”, but “chaos” describes it more accurately, as “confusion” simply means to “make mentally uncertain” while “chaos” means “complete disorder”, a juncture which we have nearly reached. If one will search the scriptures, one will find that Yahshua Christ Himself placed His stamp-of-approval on Israel’s true calendar, which I will address more thoroughly before this subject is concluded. If Christ’s word cannot be trusted, pray tell, whose word can we trust?

Noon to Noon Madness, Part 6

I will state again that it is simply amazing how people today want to set up pretzel factories. They are usually unscholarly, unenlightened, puffed-up with pride, self-aggrandized wannabes, and they will work overtime to promote their agenda. The so-called noon to noon biblical day” theory is one of these hocus-pocus shell-game schemes being advanced. The leading architect to this one (and backed by Pete Peters) seems to be one Gene Heck and his publication The Weekly Sabbath: Part I: From When to When?”, Part II: Which Day of the Week?”, Part III: Yes, But What About…?” Heck dubs himself: Bible Research Institute, 11755 Bunco Road, Athol, Idaho 83801, Phone (208) 683-2147.

We are going to continue where we left off in the last installment where I quoted Matt. 27:62-66: 62Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, 63Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. 64Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. 65Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. 66So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.”

I will state again, the pretzel factories are working overtime these days, and the so-called “noon to noon biblical day” theory is being advanced by some unscholarly and unenlightened, puffed-up, self-aggrandized wannabes. The leading architect of this hocus-pocus seems to be one Gene Heck and his publication The Weekly Sabbath: Part I: “From When to When?”, Part II: “Which Day of the Week?”, Part III: “Yes, But What About…?” Heck dubs himself: Bible Research Institute, 11755 Bunco Road, Athol, Idaho 83801, Phone (208) 683-2147.

I would remind the reader that it is a serious matter to twist the meanings of words making up Holy Writ! This is serious on account of the red letter” words of Christ Himself at Matt. 12:30 and Luke 11:23 where He says: ... he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.”

With this fifth paper on this subject, I will demonstrate that Gene Heck and his wrecking crew are indeed twisting Scripture, and anytime we do so we are scattering the sheep rather than gathering them. At 2 Peter 3:15-16 we read:

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Master is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

As I stated before, the pretzel factories are working overtime these days, and the so-called “noon to noon biblical day” hypothesis is the product of un-scholarly, unenlightened, self-aggrandized, puffed-up wannabes, which is likely an unders- tatement. The architect of this hocus-pocus seems to be one Gene Heck and his publication The Weekly Sabbath: Part I: “From When to When?”, Part II: “Which Day of the Week?”, Part III: “Yes, But What About…?” Heck dubs himself: Bible Research Institute, 11755 Bunco Road, Athol, Idaho 83801, Phone (208) 683-2147.

One in the crowd associated with and promoting Heck’s heresy is Pete Peters, who originally backed Heck’s subterfuge on the Sabbath issue and then suggested he put his flawed fabrications into book form. James Bruggeman, a pretzel twister extraordinaire, supposedly improved the quality of [Heck’s] pre-sentation” and then published Heck’s ranting in an abridged form in his so-called Christian Patriot Crusader newsletter. Anyone who understands the machinations of this trio wrecking crew, can also comprehend the questionable atmosphere under which this poppycock was hatched. In addition to these three turkeys, Gene Heck also gobbles-up Charles Weisman’s phony baloney! Heck’s hypothesis is that the Biblical day begins and ends at high-noon.

Noon to Noon Madness, Part 3

We are now living at a time in history when undoubtedly there are more religious charlatans concocting various devious heretical brews of poisonous dogma that would make even Frankenstein blush and cringe with envy. One such impostor is Gene Heck who spawned a hideous theory that the Biblical day was calculated from high noon to high noon. If you haven’t as yet read parts one and two on this subject, you may not fully understand this third issue. According to Heck, his mentors and colleagues in this subterfuge are Pete Peters, James Bruggeman and Charles Weisman.

In the first paper, I showed how Heck was confusing Biblical time with our present celestial meridian time which was not adopted generally until 1884 A.D. I exposed how Heck added the words “east” and “main” to Nehemiah 13:15-22 that are not there. Further, I demonstrated how the east gate, or main gate as Heck calls it could not be used as a sundial as it was 10° off true north. I also pointed out that Heck had a double standard by condemning everything as “Jewish-Babylonian”, and then accepting the Babylonian 12 hour day. Then Heck quoted four passages at Deut. 16:6, 1 Kings 22:35-36, 2 Chr. 18:34 and Josh. 10:27 claiming that the translated English word “even” at those verses (#6150) meant “noon” in Hebrew which was a downright lie! Then, I took Heck to task on his view of Yahshua’s last Passover with His disciples, and how with his noon-to-noon theory, he would nullify our Redemption.

Noon to Noon Madness, Part 2

In part one of this series on what I call “Noon To Noon Madness”, I got sidetracked onto the subject of the Passover. I say “sidetracked” because, when I started this composition, I only intended to address the falsity of the conjecture that the Biblical day starts at high noon. I was actually researching the topic of the “two evenings” of which Gene Heck knows little to nothing, and I found the best article I ever came across explaining the sequence of events leading up to the Crucifixion and through the Resurrection. I found this information in my Libronix Digital Library under Difficulties In The Bible by R. Torrey, 1998, c1996, Alleged errors and contradictions. Woodlawn Electronic Publishing: Willow Grove. Chapter 21: “Was Jesus Really Three Days and Three Nights in the Heart of the Earth?” This passage from his book proves beyond all doubt (and you will notice I do not say “gives evidence”, but rather “proves beyond all doubt”) that the Passover meal was eaten by Christ and His disciples on the evening of the day of Preparation, the evening before Christ’s death. Anyone with some Holy Spirit given discernment should comprehend that Christ couldn’t have eaten the Passover meal and still be the Passover Lamb. It is simply impossible, even for Yahweh! I strongly advise the truth-seeker to read very carefully, though the author misuses words like “Jew/Jewish” and “Jesus” which I will not emend for the next 9 paragraphs:

The pretzel factories are working overtime these days, and the so-called “noon to noon biblical day” theory is a prime example of such a contrived, convoluted and twisted supposition dreamed up by unscholarly and unenlightened, puffed-up, self-aggrandized wannabes. And that is probably an understatement.

On page 2, under the heading “Dedication”, Heck says the following: “... This book would never have been begun, let alone completed, had it not been for Pastor Peters who originally inspired my research into the Sabbath issue, and then suggested that I put my research into book form. Pastor James Bruggeman, a Bible scholar, who offered many suggestions which have improved the quality of presentation, and who then published this work in an abridged form in his Christian Patriot Crusader newsletter ...” Anyone who understands the machinations of this trio wrecking crew, can also comprehend the questionable atmosphere under which this poppycock was hatched. In addition to these three turkeys, Gene Heck also gobbles-up Charles Wiseman’s phony baloney!
