This is the first note I ever received from Clifton Emahiser. I appreciated his encouragement, so I peeled it off of the article he sent me and stuck it in the front of the Bible I used throughout my time in prison. I still have it today. Little did I know what might become of my first having contacted him, and his receptive and humble attitude when I wrote. What always impressed me most about Clifton was his incredible humility, in spite of all of his learning.
